📋 Comprehensive Approved Body List
To preserve the strict, realistic True GT & Production Car aesthetic of this class, only the following vehicle body models (including all specialized color variants, special editions, and clear polycarbonate/PET alternatives) are permitted to compete. If a body style is not on this list, it is illegal.
Estoura, Chevalier, Ignicion, Roborace, GR Supra, Yaris WRC, Hexagonite, Mad Laser, Silwolf, Spark Rouge, Raikiri, Abilista, Trigale, Festa Jaune, Heat Edge, Blast Arrow, Astralster, Nitrage, Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC, Hyundai Avante, Raizzan.
K4 Tasche, K4 Gambol, Lord Guile, Trairong, Baron Viento, Night Hunter, Rowdy Bull, Dyipne, Hong Kong Taxi, Eleglitter, GR Yaris, Honda e, Panda 2, Mach Bullet, Daihatsu Copen XMZ, Daihatsu Copen RMZ, Nissan Be-1, Jolly Joker, Sunny Shuttle.
Approved Third-Party Body: The Jiepen AE86 is explicitly permitted.
⚠️ Material & Trimming Mandates:
Clear/Polycarbonate Variants: Clear polycarbonate, PET, or lightweight clear variants of the specific models listed above are fully allowed.
Cutting & Trimming: All polycarbonate, clear, or plastic bodies must be cut precisely along the manufacturer's specified instruction lines. Trimming is only permitted beyond these lines to clear interference with the chassis, plates, or tires, up to a strict maximum clearance of 3mm.
Prohibited Silhouettes: Fictional open-wheel cars, formula styles, or buggy-style bodies not explicitly named on the list above (e.g., Avante Jr., Thunder Shot, Neo-VQS, Vanquish) are strictly prohibited in this class. Standalone wings or cut scraps do not qualify as a body.
1. Machine & Chassis Specifications
Chassis Authenticity: Must be genuine Tamiya. Any hollowing, cutting, custom weight-reduction (niku-nuki), or homemade chassis fabrication is strictly prohibited.
Chassis Orientation: The chassis must be built and run in its original manufactured direction. Reverse chassis configurations are illegal.
Drive Layout: All machines must maintain an active four-wheel drive (4WD) setup. Modifications resulting in rear-wheel or front-wheel drive only are prohibited.
Body Security: The body must be fully secured using the designated manufacturer method via standard front and rear body catches. If the body shell detaches or falls off during a race heat, the car is instantly disqualified.
Aesthetics: Unpainted bodies or bodies entirely missing stickers/liveries are banned. Cars must look like scale racing vehicles.
2. Permitted Parts & Modifications (The "Advanced" List)
The spirit of GT Advanced dictates a strict no-processing / bolt-on (pon-tsuke) building strategy based around the tuning levels found in the Neo-VQS Advanced Pack.
Plates & Bracing: Only FRP plates are permitted. Carbon plates are strictly banned.
Allowed Processing: Countersinking screw holes (for flathead screws) and basic drilling to enlarge or clear existing factory holes is allowed.
Banned Processing: No tapering of FRP edges. No bonding or gluing multiple plates together.
Wheels & Tires:
Only standard black rubber/elastomer tires are permitted. Colored, custom-dyed, or clear tires are illegal.
Allowed Processing: Piercing wheel hub holes to run a straight long-shaft is legal, provided any protruding shaft point is safely covered with a rubber tube or multi-tape. Tire gluing is permitted.
Banned Processing: Tire shaving, carving, truing, or chemical de-greasing/softening is illegal.
Consumables: Custom cutting of Tamiya brake sponges, multi-tape, or rubber piping is allowed.
3. Strict Limitations & Banned Gimmicks
The Bearing Ban: All ball bearings are completely prohibited. This includes wheel axle ball bearings, counter-gear ball bearings, and ball-bearing rollers. Only standard plastic bushings, low-friction POM plastic bearings, or metal eyelets are legal.
Roller Specifications:
A maximum limit of 8 rollers per machine. (A double roller stack counts as 1 roller; skid rollers count toward the total).
Only pure plastic rollers are permitted. Rollers with built-in rubber rings or aluminum rollers are strictly banned.
Rollers fixed into place tightly to act as stabilizer poles do not count toward the 8-roller limit.
No Advanced Gimmicks: Structural dynamic systems like Lanterns (Chochin), Hikuo, Norio, Catcher Dampers, or independent suspension anchors are entirely banned. Only vertical-travel mass dampers resting on fixed, static screws are legal.
4. Powertrain & Electrical Limits
Motor Restrictions: To prevent runaway speeds on plastic bushings, the motor pool is strictly capped at Light Dash performance. Only the following motors (including their dual-shaft PRO counterparts) are legal:
Normal/Stock Motor, Rev-Tuned 2, Torque-Tuned 2, Atomic-Tuned 2, and Light Dash Motor.
Note: Hyper Dash, Mach Dash, Sprint Dash, and Ultra Dash motors are completely banned.
Drivetrain & Gears: Standard drive gears must be utilized in their exact factory-designated combinations based on the chassis manual. Processing gears, trimming teeth, or gluing gears directly to shafts is strictly illegal.
Contacts: Terminal plates must be unmodified. Soldering battery contacts or double-layering contacts is illegal.
5. Technical Dimensions & Victory Conditions
Technical Dimension
Regulation Limit
Maximum Car Width
Under 105mm
Overall Car Height
Under 70mm
Overall Car Length
Under 165mm
Minimum Ground Clearance
